We continued further up US 101 in search of tree-related tourist traps. Unfortunately, our second stop wasn’t as successful as our first.

Odie took it pretty hard, but Melissa managed to make some friends.

At this point, we were more than 180 miles from home, and our plans were becoming more ambitious. We wondered whether we would make it home that evening. Our next stop provided a solid backup plan.
