Mile 177 from El Cerrito Plaza, we reached Leggett, CA, our first destination. How did we know there would be a large tree to drive through? It doesn’t get much easier than this.

The prime feature of the Drive-Thru Tree Park is the Chandelier Tree, which is 315 ft tall and 21 ft in diameter.

I can’t describe how excited Odie was to drive Charlie through a tree. Here’s a start though.

This was quite a productive stop because I scoped out the tiger Vanagon. In the gift shop, this woman thought I was an employee and kept asking me to check the prices on items that she couldn’t reach. I guess I looked professional or something.
